Get to know Adverity

Welcome to Adverity! This guide will give you an overview of the Adverity workflow before you start collecting data.

What can I achieve with Adverity?

Before you start working with Adverity, your marketing data may be spread across a number of different data sources, such as Facebook Ads or Google Ads. With no easy way to compare data from different data sources, it can be challenging to make sense of your marketing data.

With Adverity, you can collect the data you want, transform it so that it meets your needs, and easily compare, analyze, and present marketing data from as many different data sources as you like.

A quick guide to the Adverity platform

Before getting started, it is helpful to understand how to navigate in Adverity. The platform is divided into three platform areas - Connect Data, Manage Data and Use Data. Each platform area contains multiple pages, as shown in the diagram below.

In the Adverity platform, simply click on the name of a page in the platform navigation menu on the left side of the screen to go to the selected page.

When you work through the Getting Started section of our documentation, you will not use all of these pages.

To find more information about each page in the Adverity platform, and what you can achieve there, go to our Guides overview.

Your journey through Adverity

Using Adverity, you can collect the data you need from as many data sources as you want, and harmonize this data so you can compare your findings from different sources. After collecting and harmonizing your data, you can transform it using enrichments so that it meets your needs.

Once you are happy with the data you have collected, you have a number of options for working with your data:

  • Load your data into Adverity Data Storage in order to analyze, visualize and present your data in our Data Explorer and Dashboards pages.

  • Load your data into an external destination, such as Looker Studio, for further processing.

  • Use a data share to allow BI tools, such as Tableau and Power BI, to access the data you collect in Adverity.

The diagram below shows the Adverity workflow. These are the steps you will take to collect, manage and use your data in Adverity

  • The blue steps are included in our Getting Started guides.

The green steps are other useful steps in the Adverity workflow that you can explore later.

  • The dark blue boxes show the page in the Adverity platform where you can perform each step.
