Collecting data from Apple Search Ads

Collecting data from Apple Search Ads comes with the following limitations:

You can only create one Adverity for each Apple Search Ads account. If you create two s with the same Apple Search Ads account, the created first becomes invalid, and all datastreams that use this are not able to collect data.

Prerequisites
Before you start collecting data from Apple Search Ads, perform all of the following actions:

Ensure that the account you use to connect to Apple Search Ads has admin rights for the organizations for which you want to collect data.
Creating a datastream to collect data from Apple Search Ads

Authorization: Allow Adverity to access Apple Search Ads
To set up a new Apple Search Ads, follow these steps:

In the Authorization step of the datastream wizard, click Access Apple Search Ads using your credentials.

Click Next.

If you have access to multiple Apple Search Ads accounts, select the account that you want Adverity to access.

You are directed to the Apple Search Ads login page. Enter your Apple ID to authorize Adverity to access Apple Search Ads.
As a result, Adverity is authorized to access Apple Search Ads. To continue creating your datastream, return to the Authorization step in the datastream wizard and select the newly created from the list.
Configuration: Choose the data you want to collect from Apple Search Ads
To choose what data to collect and customize the Apple Search Ads datastream configuration, follow these steps:

(Optional) Rename your datastream.

In Organizations and Campaigns, select the organizations and campaigns for which to collect data. If you do not select any items in a drop-down list, Adverity collects data for all items in the drop-down list.

In Report type, select the type of data to collect from Apple Search Ads.

In Granularity, select the time unit in which you want to retrieve your data.

In Timezone, select the timezone in which the data will be reported. The default value is UTC.

In Group by, select how the data is aggregated. If you leave this field empty, data is not aggregated.

In Fields, change the list of fields that you want to see in your data extract.
