Collecting data from YouGov BrandIndex

Creating a datastream to collect data from YouGov BrandIndex

Configuration: Choose the data you want to collect from YouGov BrandIndex

To choose what data to collect and customize the YouGov BrandIndex datastream configuration, follow these steps:

  1. (Optional) Rename your datastream.

  1. In Region, select the region on which to collect data.

  2. In Sector Type, select the type of sector on which to collect data. If you select Sectors or Custom Sectors, enter the sectors for which to collect data in Sectors.

  3. In Moving Average, enter the number of days which the moving average will cover. For more information, see the YouGov BrandIndex documentation.

  4. In Brands, select the brands on which to collect data.

  1. In Report type, select the type of data to collect from YouGov BrandIndex.Select Adverity to select the segments and profiles on which you want to collect data. Alternatively, select Custom to enter a filter expression from the YouGov BrandIndex user interface. For more information, see the YouGov BrandIndex documentation.

  1. In Metrics, change the list of fields that you want to see in your data extract.

  1. In Custom Query, enter the expression for the custom query used to filter the data. The custom queries are created in the YouGov BrandIndex user interface. For more information, see the YouGov BrandIndex documentation.

  1. In Segments and Profiles, select the segments and profiles for which to collect data. If you do not select any items in a drop-down list, Adverity collects data for all items in the drop-down list.

  1. (Optional) Select the Isolate Filters checkbox to make multiple requests for each combination of the segments and profiles on which you want to collect data.

  2. In Scoring, select how you want to score the data.
