Exporting dashboards
This guide explains how to export the data displayed in a table dashboard, and how to export an entire dashboard.

You can export the data from a table
in the following formats: CSV, Excel, ODS, PDF. -
You can export a dashboard in the following formats: PNG, JPG, PDF, ZIP, PPTX, XLSX.

What is the difference between publishing, exporting and sharing a dashboard?

These three options allow you to give other people access to dashboard content in different ways:

Publishing a dashboard allows everyone with access to the workspace in which the dashboard is published to view the dashboard. For more information, see Publishing dashboards.

Exporting allows you to share a static image of a dashboard or widget in a range of formats. This option is explained in this guide.

Sharing a dashboard or enables you to give specific people access to view the selected dashboard or , in order to achieve the following goals.

Collaborate with other users on a dashboard

Allow other users to view the shared dashboard or
-
Share a dashboard using a link that expires after a set time period

Embed a link to a

Exporting data from a table
To export the data displayed in a table dashboard, follow these steps:

Go to the Present page.

Click the dashboard containing the table from which you want to export data.

Hold the pointer over the . actions
, and then click -
Click Export.

Select the format in which you want to download the data.
When exporting data from a data table or table

The export is limited to 10,000 rows.

All filters applied to the dimension and metric filters) will also be applied to the exported data.

Exporting a dashboard
To export an entire dashboard, follow these steps:

Go to the Present page.

Click the dashboard that you want to export.

In the top right corner, click Export.
-
(Optional) When exporting a dashboard as a PDF, in the drop-down menu, click Show PDF breaks landscape or Show PDF breaks portrait to preview the page breaks in the PDF.

In the drop-down menu, click Export.

In the Export dashboard as dialog box, choose one of the following options:

To export your dashboard as a PNG, JPG, PPTX or XLSX file:

In File type, select the file type you want, then click Export.

To export your dashboard as a PDF:
-
In File type, select PDF.

(Optional) Select the Landscape mode checkbox to export your dashboard in landscape format. If this checkbox is not selected, your dashboard is exported in portrait format.

(Optional) Select the Put each to export each on a separate page on a separate page.

Click Export.

To export your dashboard as a ZIP file:

In File type, select ZIP.

In File type for visualizations, select the format in which you want to export your visualization s.

In File type for grids, select the format in which you want to export your table s.

Click Export.

As a result, you have exported your entire dashboard in the selected format.
Sending and scheduling a dashboard export
You can also send a dashboard export directly to someone else if you have their email address. You can send a dashboard export to someone else once, or on a regular schedule.
To send or schedule a dashboard export, follow these steps:

Go to the Present page.

Click the dashboard that you want to export and send.

In the top right corner, click Export.
-
In the drop-down menu, click Send/schedule export.

In the Send/schedule export dialog box, fill in the following fields:

To

Enter the email addresses of the users to send the dashboard export to.

Subject
-
Enter the subject line for the email they will receive containing the dashboard export.

(Optional) Send me a copy
-
Select this checkbox to send a copy of the email to yourself. This will be sent to the email address you use for your Adverity account.

Message
-
Enter the message you want to send with the dashboard export.
-
File name
-
Enter the name for the dashboard export file. By default, this is the same as the dashboard name.

File type
-
Select the format in which you want to export the dashboard.

Frequency
-
Select how often you want to export the dashboard and send it to these users.

Click Send now.
As a result, the dashboard will be exported in the format you selected and sent to the users whose email addresses you entered. If you chose a regular scheduled export, the dashboard will be exported and sent to the same users at the frequency you selected.
