Automatic issue acknowledgment

Resolved issues

theTradeDesk

With this release, datastreams will now fetch all sheets, instead of only the first sheet, when the sheet number is blank in the datastream settings.

This fix affects new and updated datastreams. Existing scheduled datastreams with no sheet number in the datastream settings will still fetch only the first sheet to maintain existing functionality.

With this release, additional fields have been added to the Ad group ad resource.

Google Analytics Data (GA4)

With this release, all deprecated metrics and dimensions have been migrated to new key event metrics and dimensions. You can continue to use this connector with no further action.

With this release, the Advertiser, Campaign, Product Advertised and Product Group report types have been added to this connector.

Integral Ad Science

With this release, the GroupM Fully On Screen report type has been added to this connector.

Improvements

Custom script preview improvements

With this release, the following improvements have been made to the Table Preview tab of the custom script enrichment configuration:

  • Error messages are now clearer and appear in the preview, so you can easily understand where and why an error has occurred.

  • You can now see from which datastream the data extract used in the preview comes from.

  • You can now see the changes to the data extract caused by enrichments that are applied before the custom script in the preview, so you have a more accurate preview of the changes that will be made to your data.

Automatically re-load your data into the destinations

With this release, you can now automatically re-load your data into Adverity Data Storage or your external destinations in the following cases:

  • The first destination for a datastream is enabled

    If you agree to load data automatically, all data extracts with the status collected will be loaded into the destination.

  • An additional destination for a datastream is enabled

    If you agree to load data automatically, all data extracts with the status loaded will be loaded into the new destination.

  • Changes made to the configuration of an enabled destination

    If you agree to load data automatically, all data extracts with the status loaded will be re-loaded into the affected destination if it is enabled.

  • Changes made to the Data Mapping

    If you agree to load data automatically, all data extracts with the status loaded will be re-loaded into the enabled destinations.

DoubleVerify

With this release, the TikTok and Twitter report types have been added to this connector.

Google Display & Video 360

With this release, the optimized targeting dimension has been added to the Standard report type and unique reach metrics have been added to the Reach report type.

(beta) Google Search Ads 360

With this release, the Ad and Account report types have been added to this connector.

Datastream warnings

With this release, you can now acknowledge datastream warnings the same way as errors. The tasks with acknowledged warnings are removed from the Warnings tab.

(BETA) Custom monitors

With this release, you can now trigger both an error and a warning when the data violates the defined rules. This feature is currently at Beta stage.

With this release, you can now display the linked images in a data table or KPI box widget when you collect a dimension with image URL values. To display the images, you need to configure the dimension as an image dimension.

Improvements

Conversion rate calculated metric

With this release, the default format of the Conversion rate calculated metric has been changed from Number to Percentage. You will see this change if you already use this calculated metric. To change the default format back to Number, edit the calculated metric.

Performance outlier notifications

With this release, you can receive notifications about performance outliers, which inform you if a task takes longer than usual. To subscribe to these notifications, use the link on the Activity page or go to the Administration page and click Notifications. For more information, see Managing user notifications.

Google Ads

With this release, a Shared Criterion resource has been added for Custom report types for this connector.

Pinterest

With this release, Targeting type has been added as an optional field to the Advertiser Delivery Metrics report. The targeting_type and targeting_value fields will appear in the data extract for this report type if this field is included.

With this release, the Ad Group Criterion Type field has been added to applicable resources.

Google Analytics Data (GA4)

With this release, you can no longer use deprecated Google Analytics authorizations for Google Analytics Data (GA4) datastreams. Additionally, this connector now uses the new OAuth2 authorization, and uses Properties instead of Views as the billing objects.

With this release, additional fields have been added to all the account types for this connector.

Pinterest

With this release, the Audience Insights report type has been added for this connector. Additionally, the Advertiser name and Ad Account name fields have been added to the Advertiser delivery metric report type.

Reddit Ads

With this release, new fields, including custom conversion fields, have been added for this connector.

Version 2023.42

Major new features

DoubleVerify authorization tokens

DoubleVerify tokens must be updated to v2 by October 24, 2023. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. If you do not already have a v2 token, generate a v2 token in the Analytics > Data API section of the DoubleVerify user interface.

  2. In Adverity, go to the Authorizations page and click the name of your DoubleVerify authorization.

  3. In Bearer token v2, enter the new v2 token.

  4. Click Save.

In addition, by October 24, 2023, the following changes will also be made to this connector:

  • The GroupM Facebook report type will be included in the Meta report type.

  • The GroupM Youtube report type will be deprecated.

  • V2 token authentication will be required for all report types.

Schedule Daily import status notifications

With this release, you can schedule the Daily import status notifications. Previously these notifications were sent at a fixed time. This is especially relevant for users far from the UTC time zone.

With this release, you can now collect data from Google Search Ads 360.

LeadSquared

With this release, you can now collect data from LeadSquared.

Improvements

Amazon Advertising

With this release, a number of metrics and dimensions have been added to several report types.

Google Analytics Data (GA4)

With this release, Adverity now checks that your Google Analytics Data (GA4) connector configuration is valid in real-time. Any errors are identified, which means you can solve them before you save your configuration or fetch data.

Integral Ad Science

With this release, the external_id dimension has been added to the Performance and Brand Suitability Failure report types. The connector logo has also been updated.

LinkedIn Organizations and Brands

With this release, the content_type field has been added to the Posts report type.

Matomo

With this release, several new report types and breakdowns, as well as a Granularity field, have been added to this connector.

Yahoo DSP

With this release, the Video player size dimension has been added for this connector.

Improvements

Preview custom script enrichments

When configuring a custom script enrichment, you can now preview the result of your enrichment in the Table Preview tab. The preview displays the changes that the enrichment will make to your data extract.

Roundel

With this release, Target Roundel has been rebranded to Roundel and is now available to all Adverity users.

Criteo Marketing Solutions

With this release, the Criteo Marketing Solutions connector has been updated to API version 2023.07.

Improvements

Branch Custom API

With this release, a date field has been added to the SKAdNetwork Valid Messages and SKAdNetwork Invalid Messages topics.

Datastream settings

From this release, the Fetch sequentially and Share with child workspaces datastream settings are hidden by default. To show these settings, adjust your workspace settings in the Administration page.

Google Analytics Data (GA4)

With this release, the Service Account authorization type is now available for this connector.

New Python module for custom enrichments: Statistics

With this release, the classes and methods of the Statistics Python module are now supported by Adverity custom script enrichments. You can use these classes and methods by importing this Python module.

Improvements

Google Analytics Data (GA4)

With this release, the dimensions and metrics from the data source are now loaded dynamically. As a result, any field changes made by Google will appear in the Google Analytics Data (GA4) connector much faster.

TikTok

With this release, new metrics have been added to the Basic report type.

Major new features

Schedule a fetch to run once

With this release, you can now create a scheduled fetch that only runs once. For example, if you want to run a fetch that will take a long time, you can now schedule this fetch to run during the night, so it does not affect other tasks during your working hours.

Google Analytics Data (GA4)

With this release, a message has been added to the Google Analytics Data (GA4) configuration page to clarify this connector's limitation when selecting dimensions.

Google Display & Video 360

With this release, the request limit quotas have been increased following the Google announcement.

LinkedIn Ads

With this release, additional metadata fields have been added for the Conversion pivot, and the selectors for Ad Accounts and Campaigns have been improved.

Target Roundel

With this release, the Overview report type has been added to this connector.
