Collecting data from Facebook Public Page

  • Facebook Public Page can collect a maximum of 1 million rows per single report. To fetch more data than this, split your fetch into smaller date ranges in the Initial Fetch step of creating a datastream.

Prerequisites

Before you start collecting data from Facebook Public Page, perform all of the following actions:

  • Find the page handle of the Facebook Public Page on which you want to collect data.

  • Alternatively, create a value table that contains the page handles of the Facebook Public Pages. For more information on how to create a value table, see Creating value tables.

Configuration: Choose the data you want to collect from Facebook Public Page

    Type in

    Select this option to manually enter the page handles for the pages on which you want to collect data.

    If you select this option, in Type in, type in and select the page handles on which you want to collect data.

    Value table

    Select this option to provide a value table containing the page handles for the pages on which you want to collect data.

    If you select this option, in Value table, select the value table containing the page handles for the pages on which you want to collect data.
