Connecting Qlik to a data share

This guide explains how to connect to your data share from Qlik.

Prerequisites

Before you complete the procedure in this guide, perform all of the following actions:

• Load your collected data into Adverity Data Storage.

• Create a data share and copy its credentials.

Setting up an OData connection to the data share from Qlik

To set up the connection from Qlik to your data share, follow these steps:

1. Select the OData data connection.

2. In OData Service Root, enter the data share's URL.

3. In Authentication type, select the Basic authentication type.

4. In Username and Password, enter the data share's credentials.

5. In Name, enter a name for your connection.
