Adding widgets to a dashboard in Data Explorer

This reference article explains how to add widgets to a dashboard while you are working in the Data Explorer page.

Adding a widget to a dashboard

To add a widget to a dashboard in the Data Explorer page, follow these steps:

1. Create a widget in Data Explorer.

2. In the top right of the page, click Add to dashboard.

3. Select one of the following options:

   • To add a table widget to a dashboard, select Add as a Table.

   • To add a visualization widget to a dashboard, select Add as a Visualization.

4. (Optional) Rename the widget.

5. Select one of the following options:

   • Click Add to existing dashboard, and select the existing dashboard where to add the widget.

   • Click Add to new private dashboard, and enter the name of the new dashboard where to add the widget.

6. Click Add.

As a result, you have added the widget to the selected dashboard.
