Collecting data from Reddit Ads

This guide explains how to collect data from Reddit Ads. To learn how to collect data from a different data source, go back to the Available data sources in Adverity overview.

  • Reddit Ads can collect a maximum of 1 million rows per single report. To fetch more data than this, split your fetch into smaller date ranges in the Initial Fetch step of creating a datastream.


Before you start collecting data from Reddit Ads, perform all of the following actions:

  • Ensure the account used to connect to Reddit Ads has the correct roles and permissions required to access the data.

  • Ensure that you have permission to access the Reddit Ads API. You must be allow listed to access the Reddit Ads API. For more information, contact your Reddit Ads sales representative or see the Reddit Ads API documentation.

Configuration: Choose the data you want to collect from Reddit Ads

To choose what data to collect and customize the Reddit Ads datastream configuration, follow these steps:

  1. (Optional) Rename your datastream.

  1. In Accounts, select the accounts for which to collect data. If you do not select any items in a drop-down list, Adverity collects data for all items in the drop-down list.

  1. In Fields, change the list of fields that you want to see in your data extract.

  1. In Breakdown, select how you want the collected data to be broken down.

  2. In Time zone, select the timezone in which the data will be reported. If you do not select a timezone, the timezone assigned to the selected accounts will be used.
