Collecting data from Sistrix

Creating a datastream to collect data from Sistrix

The basics of creating a datastream to collect data from any data source are explained in our guide to Creating a datastream. This guide contains information about the specific steps to create a datastream to fetch data from Sistrix.

Configuration: Choose the data you want to collect from Sistrix

To choose what data to collect and customize the Sistrix datastream configuration, follow these steps:

1. (Optional) Rename your datastream.

2. In Category, select the category for which you want to collect data.

3. In Report type, select the type of data to collect from Sistrix.

4. If you selected Domain in the Category field, in Domains source, choose how you want to specify the domains on which to collect data:

   Type in

   Select this option to manually enter the domains on which you want to collect data.

   If you select this option, in Domains, type in the domains on which you want to collect data. Enter each domain on a new line.

   Value table

   Select this option to provide a value table containing the domains on which you want to collect data.

   If you select this option, in Domains value table, select the value table containing the domains on which you want to collect data.

5. In Keywords and Countries, select the keywords and countries for which to collect data. If you do not select any items in a drop-down list, Adverity collects data for all items in the drop-down list.

6. Select the Include mobile checkbox to collect data on mobile keywords.

7. In Limit, set a limit for the number of keywords on which to collect data. For example, enter 10 here to collect data on the top 10 keywords.

Advanced Sistrix tips

Date range limitations when collecting data from Sistrix

There are certain date range limitations when collecting data on the report type Keyword SEPRS from Sistrix. This report type is available when you select the category Optimizer.

When collecting a Keyword SEPRS report, the start date of the date range must be a Monday. If you choose a start date that is not on a Monday, Adverity will change the date of the date range for you and inform you of the new start date with a warning message.
