Management API key introspection¶
With this release, several improvements have been made around Management API key introspection:
A new endpoint
GET /api/v1/auth/keys/introspect/has been introduced, allowing callers to check the active status and details of an API key and providing a standardized way to verify API key validity. An introspection check is now performed during MCP server token refresh, ensuring that revoked or rotated API keys are immediately invalidated when used via the MCP server and preventing unauthorized access for extended periods.
IP-based rate limiting has been implemented on the unauthenticated introspection route
GET /api/v1/auth/keys/introspect/to prevent denial-of-service attacks, enhancing the security and stability of the Management API.An issue has been addressed where the introspection rate limit was throttling multiple tenants, preventing unintended throttling of requests for users accessing MAPI through the MCP server.
Dedicated `authorization` API key scope¶
With this release, dedicated authorization:read and authorization:write API key scopes have been introduced to the Management API, providing more granular control over authorization management and allowing users to apply least-privilege principles more effectively.
Management API Keys page granular scopes¶
With this release, the Management API Keys page now displays granular scopes for each API key (e.g., Workspace: Write, Datastream: Read-only), providing detailed visual representation of actual permissions and supporting least-privilege principles.
MCP server OAuth key management enhancement¶
With this release, the security of the MCP server’s OAuth key management has been enhanced by splitting the OAUTH_SECRET_KEY into separate signing and encryption keys, significantly improving the security of user credentials and access tokens.
Audit trail source marker for MAPI requests¶
With this release, Management API requests originating from the MCP server now include a distinguishing, persisted source marker in the audit trail, providing clear visibility into which MAPI changes were initiated by the MCP server versus other clients.
Job Details drawer enhancements¶
With this release, the trigger-type badge (e.g., MAPI, Manual fetch) and the “Triggered by: <user>” tooltip are now displayed within the Job Details drawer, providing more complete context for job execution.
X / Twitter Ads¶
With this release, the X / Twitter Ads connector has been updated to reflect deprecated segmentation types and metrics, and new age buckets from the API, ensuring users are using current metrics and segmentation types. Existing datastreams will be gracefully migrated to compatible configurations. For more information, see Twitter Ads: Setup guide. For more information, see the announcement.
Resolved issues¶
With this release, issues have been resolved for the following connectors and destinations:
360.cn

Management API authorization audit trail accuracy fix¶
With this release, an issue has been corrected where toggling the “grant all” flag for authorizations via MAPI resulted in inconsistent user attribution in the audit trail comments, improving the accuracy and clarity of audit trails for authorization changes.
Management API key rotation security fix¶
With this release, a fix has been implemented to ensure APIKey.rotate() immediately invalidates the authentication cache, improving the security of API key rotation and enhancing the overall stability and correctness of the Management API.
