Egnyte connections restricted to Egnyte domains¶
Egnyte token requests, token refresh and file access are now limited to *.egnyte.com domains. Existing Egnyte authorizations that store another domain fail and must be authorized again. If you use an Egnyte custom domain, contact Adverity support to allow that host. For more information, see Loading data into Egnyte File Storage.
Walmart Connect Out of Budget Recommendations report type replaced¶
The Walmart Connect Out of Budget Recommendations report type is replaced by Campaign Recommendations in Search, which has a Recommendation type setting with the options Out of budget and Item alerts. Datastreams that use the removed report type fail to fetch; move them to Campaign Recommendations. For more information, see Walmart Connect: Setup guide.
Cross-workspace monitor listing and deletion return no results¶
API clients that list or delete monitors in a workspace other than their own now receive nothing back. Change integrations that relied on cross-workspace monitor listing or deletion to target the workspace directly. For more information, see Bulk assigning custom monitors in Management API.
ChatGPT Ads Conversions report¶
ChatGPT Ads has a new Conversions report with conversions, click-through conversions and view-through conversions per campaign, ad group or ad. It offers optional daily granularity and a country or device breakdown. For more information, see ChatGPT Ads: Setup guide.
Facebook Ads 1-day engaged view attribution window¶
Facebook Ads datastreams can now select the 1-day engaged view (1d_ev) option in the Action attribution windows setting. For more information, see Facebook Ads: Setup guide.
Facebook Ads instagram_profile_visits metric¶
Facebook Ads now offers the instagram_profile_visits metric, which counts visits to the advertiser’s Instagram profile that result from interactions with an ad. For more information, see Facebook Ads: Setup guide.
Shopee date filter for orders and returns¶
Shopee Orders, Order Line Items and Returns reports have a new Date filter with the options Created at and Updated at. Updated at picks up status changes. The default remains Created at, so existing reports are unchanged.
SimilarWeb Category and Category rank fields¶
Similarweb website analysis reports now offer Category and Category rank fields. Report types with a metrics selector offer them as metrics; others use the Include category data checkbox. The data covers the month two months before the current date.
Snapchat forced view setting dimension¶
Snapchat reporting has a new Ad squad dimension for forced view setting. It distinguishes Commercials, which show full duration or six seconds, from standard Snap Ads, which show none. For more information, see Snapchat: Setup guide.
Snapchat video_views_15s metric¶
Snapchat datastreams that use the Insights Reporting report type can now select the video_views_15s metric, including in its breakdowns. For more information, see Snapchat: Setup guide.
YouTube Analytics engagedViews metric¶
YouTube Analytics now offers the engagedViews metric in the Metrics list for ten Video Reports types, including Basic stats, Playback details, Traffic sources and Top videos. For more information, see YouTube Analytics: Setup guide.
MCP results link to pages in Adverity¶
MCP results for datastreams, transformations, authorizations, extracts, errors, workspaces, users and value tables now include a ui_url link to the item’s page in Adverity. Keys that cannot read workspaces still receive the data, without links. For more information, see Using Adverity MCP.
Dividers in Custom Script instruction list¶
The Custom Script instruction list has an Add divider button. Dividers are draggable, deletable separator rows with an optional name that group related instructions in long scripts. For more information, see Using custom script transformations.
Notification page recipient search and filters¶
The Administration > Notifications page has a recipient search and new Topics and Enabled filters, which make cleaning up notifications easier. For more information, see Managing user notifications.
Preview for Custom Script transformations with map instruction¶
Custom Script transformations that use the map instruction can now be previewed and no longer block the preview of later transformations. Previewing or saving a Custom Script no longer creates mapping tables, adds entries or sends notifications. For more information, see Using custom script transformations.
Stacked drawers for related setup actions¶
Several actions that navigated away or opened a new tab now open as a drawer on top of the current one, which stays open with your input. These include notification setup, storage and authorization edits. Drawers stack two levels deep.
Connect API reference on every instance¶
The Adverity Connect API reference is now available on every instance at /api/docs/ as one page, with steps to create an API key. The legacy token login is no longer documented; use API keys instead. For more information, see Authorizing Management API.
Adform (Buyer) fetches Buyer Stats in one request¶
Adform (Buyer) now fetches Buyer Stats reports in a single request instead of pages of up to 100,000 rows, which uses less of Adform’s daily API quota. If Adform returns fewer rows than the report total, the fetch fails. For more information, see Adform (Buyer): Setup guide.
Google Analytics Data retries resume at failed page¶
When a Google Analytics Data (GA4) report fetch fails and is retried, it resumes at the page that failed instead of restarting the report. The data returned is unchanged. For more information, see Google Analytics Data (GA4): Setup guide.
Microsoft Ads connector uses REST API¶
The Microsoft Ads connector now fetches data through Microsoft’s REST API (v13) instead of the SOAP API, which Microsoft is deprecating. For more information, see Microsoft Ads: Setup guide.
MongoDB datastream form uses JSON Forms¶
The MongoDB datastream configuration form now uses JSON Forms. The collection list still loads from the selected authorization, and the query field keeps its db.@collection.find() default.
The Trade Desk datastream form shows relevant fields only¶
The Trade Desk datastream form now uses JSON Forms and shows only the fields relevant to the selected report type, report level and partner or advertiser selection. For more information, see The Trade Desk: Setup guide.
Web Connect datastream form rebuilt¶
The Web Connect datastream form is rebuilt. Switching between JSON and form-urlencoded content types no longer resets the parser, request body or pagination positioning. Existing configurations and data collection are unchanged. For more information, see Web Connect: Setup guide.
MCP extract search returns datastream ID only¶
In the MCP extract_search list action, datastream_id now returns only the integer datastream ID instead of the nested datastream object, and a new datastream_name field is added. Update anything that read datastream details from datastream_id. The rows and size fields now return the row count and file size in bytes. For more information, see Using Adverity MCP.
MCP tool errors shortened for HTML error pages¶
When the Adverity instance answers an MCP tool call with an HTML error page, the assistant now receives one line with the status, host and page title. Tool error messages and details are limited to about 1,000 characters each. For more information, see Using Adverity MCP.
Animated transitions between lists and detail pages¶
Opening a datastream, authorization, transformation or dbt item animates its logo and name into the detail page header. The animation appears only in browsers that support view transitions with reduced motion turned off.
Authorization dates shown in UTC¶
Authorization dates in permission changes, history and billing objects now show in UTC with a (UTC) marker. The permission changes drawer fits its table, and datastream pickers in the reload and backfill drawers no longer overflow at small window sizes. For more information, see Monitoring permission changes.
Billing page plural names match messages¶
The plural name on the billing page now matches the name used in messages and emails. For connectors that override this name, such as Yandex.Metrica and NoCode, the billing page label changes.
Connector plan limit counts NoCode connectors by type¶
The connector plan limit now counts a NoCode connector by its own type, so adding another datastream of a NoCode connector already in use no longer counts as a new connector.
Date column widths and relative dates in tables¶
Absolute date columns in listing tables now share one width. The Updated column on the authorizations list and the Last run and Date Created columns on dbt pages now show relative dates.
Header layout and account menu¶
The Connect Agent button now sits next to the search bar. A round avatar with your initials replaces the Account button and opens the same account menu, with an icon per entry.
Monitor visibility rules match the API in the app¶
Creating, updating and moving monitors in the app now follows the same visibility rules as the API. Browsing a workspace shows only monitors in accessible workspaces, and an explicit null in an update leaves the field unchanged. For more information, see Working with custom monitors.
Required key scopes shown in API reference¶
The Connect API reference at /api/docs/ now names the API key scope each operation needs and marks operations that no key may call. Existing requests are unchanged; use this to choose key permissions. For more information, see Authorizing Management API.
IBM Analytics, MakeMeReach and Yanomo connectors deprecated¶
The IBM Analytics, MakeMeReach and Yanomo connectors are deprecated.
Twitch connector deprecated¶
The Twitch connector is deprecated. For more information, see Twitch: Setup guide.
Custom monitor endpoints replaced by monitors endpoint¶
The API adds a monitors endpoint for creating, updating, deleting and assigning custom Data Quality monitors and configuring universal monitors. The older custom monitor endpoints are deprecated and keep working unchanged; their responses include Deprecation and Link headers naming the successor. For more information, see Bulk assigning custom monitors in Management API.
New endpoints:
DELETE, GET, POST
/api/v1/monitors/GET
/api/v1/monitors/columns/DELETE, POST
/api/v1/monitors/datastreams/GET
/api/v1/monitors/operators/GET
/api/v1/monitors/target-columns/GET, PATCH
/api/v1/monitors/universal/datastreams/{datastream_id}/GET, PUT
/api/v1/monitors/universal/datastreams/{datastream_id}/baseline-schema/POST
/api/v1/monitors/universal/datastreams/{datastream_id}/baseline-schema/preview/GET, PATCH
/api/v1/monitors/universal/{monitor_type}/DELETE, GET, PATCH
/api/v1/monitors/{monitor_id}/DELETE, GET, POST
/api/v1/monitors/{monitor_id}/datastreams/
Facebook Ads future time range error¶
Facebook Ads fetches whose time range starts in the future now fail with a clear error asking you to check the date range offset in the schedule, instead of a cryptic API error.
Google Display & Video 360 metadata fetch hang¶
Google Display & Video 360 fetches with metadata fields no longer hang for hours on large reports.
Shopify webhook signature verification¶
Shopify webhooks are accepted only when their signature is valid; unsigned or wrongly signed requests are rejected with a 401 error. A customer deletion webhook affects only datastreams of the sending shop.
Twitter Ads HTTP 503 errors¶
Twitter Ads report requests that time out because of their complexity are now split into smaller batches, so intermittent HTTP 503 errors and failed schedules should stop.
MCP delete tools verify deletion¶
MCP delete tools now read the object back after a server error and report whether it was deleted.
MCP grant-all on unsupported authorizations¶
MCP tools now report that grant-all is not supported for authorizations without billing objects and do not attempt the change.
Access request email greeting¶
Access request emails sent to another person no longer show a repeated greeting and signature, and keep paragraphs and line breaks.
Ad preview screenshot timeouts¶
Ad preview screenshots, for example for Facebook Ads, that timed out once no longer fail on every retry, because the wait for files is extended to about 60 minutes.
Authorizations bulk action menu with pending items¶
The bulk-action menu on the Authorizations list no longer disappears when the selection includes pending authorizations; Request Access is the only action applied to them.
Cancelled fetches no longer publish extracts¶
A fetch cancelled while running no longer publishes its extract, so its data does not reach processing or the destination. Remaining parts of multi-part fetches are not published.
Data share creation restricted to permitted workspaces¶
Creating a data share in a workspace the user cannot access is now rejected. Data shares can be created only in permitted workspaces.
Destination and data share configurations role check¶
Users without the required role can no longer view destination and data share configurations. Listing destinations now requires at least the viewer role.
Destination creation restricted to permitted workspaces¶
The legacy destination creation endpoint now rejects requests to create destinations in workspaces outside the user’s permitted access.
Editing monitors with many datastreams¶
Custom data quality monitors with about 160 or more assigned datastreams can be opened and edited again instead of showing an error.
Excel export with timezone-aware values¶
Excel exports containing timezone-aware date and time values no longer fail; those values are written as ISO text.
Export permissions CSV counts¶
The Export permissions CSV now counts permissions like the Permissions column. Google Ads manager accounts no longer appear as separate rows, and per-datastream billed authorizations get one Active row.
Failed task retries reported¶
A task retry that cannot be republished now fails its task and job instead of being dropped silently.
Filter dropdown search focus¶
Opening a listing table filter dropdown, including the Workspace filter, now places the cursor in its search box.
Lookup table import with null entry¶
Importing a lookup-table JSON file that contains a null entry now reports “Incorrect file format.” instead of hanging.
Mass reload limited to accessible workspaces¶
Mass reload now reloads only projects in workspaces the user can access and their descendants, not projects in sibling or unrelated workspaces.
OAuth2 token errors show error page¶
When an OAuth2 token endpoint refuses the request, cannot be reached or returns a non-JSON answer, the OAuth error page now appears instead of a server error.
Pruning errors with read-only database¶
When the workspace database is temporarily read-only, pruning of deleted extracts now reports one failure instead of one error per extract, and resumes on the next run.
Connection invite message placeholders¶
API connection invite messages now accept {{ user }} and {{ links }} in any letter case, and other template text is sent as plain text.
Delete endpoints return 204 on success¶
Deleting an authorization or a notification subscription through the API no longer returns a 502 error after a successful delete; the endpoints return an empty 204.
Grant-all on authorizations without billing objects¶
Changing enable_all_billing_objects on an authorization type without billing objects, such as Google Sheets, now returns a 400 error instead of a server error.
Sequential extract requeue requires Datastream Manager role¶
Requeueing extracts sequentially through the API now requires the Datastream Manager role. Viewers and members without a role receive a 403 response.
