Viewing resource usage#
This guide outlines how to access the Usage Manager and view how much you are using Adverity.
Introduction#
When you purchase Adverity, you also purchase a certain amount of resources as part of your contract. The Usage Manager page displays how many resources you purchased and what you currently use compared to your resource allowance. This allows you to see how much additional usage you have remaining this month, or if you need to buy more usage to fulfill reporting and data integration requirements.
The Usage Manager page measures how much you use Adverity in terms of unique data rows. If you exceed the number of unique data rows included in your contract, you may be charged additional usage fees as defined in your plan.

Accessing the Usage Manager#
Prerequisites#
Before you complete the procedure in this guide, perform all of the following actions:
Make sure you have Administrator rights on your account. For more information on user permissions, see Changing user permissions.
Procedure#
To access the Usage Manager page, follow these steps:
In the top right corner, click
Account.Click Usage Manager.
As a result, you are taken to the Usage Manager page.
Viewing the Usage Manager#
The Usage Manager displays the following sections:
Environment overview#
This section provides an overview of the current month’s resource usage in your Adverity instance. This information is displayed using the following KPIs:
- Unique data rows - Current period
This displays how many unique data rows you used in the current month.
- Unique data rows - Previous period
This displays how many unique data rows you used in the previous month.
- Active data sources
This displays the number of different data sources used in your Adverity instance. Click
to view the different data sources.- Active destination types
This displays the number of different destinations used in your Adverity instance. Click
to view the different
destinations.- Available workspaces
This displays the number of workspaces active in your Adverity instance.
- Active transformations
This displays the number of different transformations used in your Adverity instance. Click

transformations.
Subscription History#
This section provides an overview of your subscription history. This information is displayed using the following fields:
- Current usage
This displays how many unique data rows you used in the current month.
- Estimated usage
This displays how many unique data rows you are predicted to use. This estimation is based on your unique data row usage in previous months.
Unique data rows history#
This section contains a bar chart that displays how many unique data rows were used on a certain day in a given time period. Click one of the bars in the chart to drill down into data for workspaces and datastreams.
Filter the bar chart to show unique data row usage under certain conditions. You can filter the bar chat using the following filters:
- Time period
Enter the time period in which you want to filter the bar chart.
- Workspaces
Select the workspaces for which you want to view the unique data row usage.
- Data sources
Select the data sources for which you want to view the unique data row usage.
- Datastreams
Select the individual datastreams for which you want to view the unique data row usage.
