Creating a datastream to collect data from Salesforce Query#
The basics of creating a datastream to collect data from any data source are explained in our guide to Collecting data in Adverity. This guide contains information about the specific steps to create a datastream to fetch data from Salesforce Query.
Configuration: Choose the data you want to collect from Salesforce Query#
To choose what data to collect and customize the Salesforce Query datastream configuration, follow these steps:
- (Optional) Rename your datastream. 
- In Query type, select the type of queries you want to run. - Query
- Select this option to collect data for all active records and ignore the deleted ones. 
- Query All
- Select this option to collect data for all records, including those that are soft deleted due to a merge or delete. However, once a record is permanently removed from the recycle bin, you can no longer query it. - With this option, you can also fetch information about archived tasks and event records. 
 
- In SOQL, enter the query string you want to use to collect your data. For more information, see the Salesforce documentation.
