Collecting data from Amazon Marketing Cloud#

Creating a datastream to collect data from Amazon Marketing Cloud#
The basics of creating a datastream to collect data from any data source are explained in our guide to Collecting data in Adverity. This guide contains information about the specific steps to create a datastream to fetch data from Amazon Marketing Cloud.
Configuration: Choose the data you want to collect from Amazon Marketing Cloud#
To choose what data to collect and customize the Amazon Marketing Cloud datastream configuration, follow these steps:
(Optional) Rename your datastream.
In Report type, select the type of data to collect from Amazon Marketing Cloud. In Amazon Marketing Cloud, report types are defined by queries called workflows. Select Custom workflow to define the report yourself. Alternatively, select Existing workflow to use a workflow defined on your instance.
In Instances, select the instances from which you want to collect data. If the field is left empty, data for all instances will be fetched.
For the Custom workflow report type, in Custom workflow, enter a query to build the report. For more information on building a query, see the Amazon Marketing Cloud documentation.
For the Existing workflow report type, in Workflow, select one of the workflows defined on your instance to build the report.
