YouTube Public: Most-used fields#
The table below gives information about most-used fields that you can import from YouTube Public. Other fields might also be available in Adverity.
The fields that you can fetch in Adverity are updated regularly to reflect updates to data source APIs.
category Dimension
The YouTube video category title associated with the video.
categoryId Metric
The unique ID that YouTube uses to identify the video category.
channelId Dimension
The unique ID that YouTube uses to identify the channel.
channelTitle Dimension
The title of the channel that published the video or resource.
commentCount Metric
The total number of comments for a YouTube video. This metric is available as part of the statistics for a video resource.
country Dimension
The country associated with the content, often used for region-specific trends or availability.
date Dimension
The date and time when a YouTube video was published or a YouTube channel was created. The value is specified in ISO 8601 format. For videos, this can differ from the upload time if the video was initially private and then made public.
defaultAudioLanguage Dimension
The primary language spoken in a video's default audio track.
defaultLanguage Dimension
The default language used for the video's title and description metadata.
description Dimension
A brief textual summary or explanation of the video or channel.
dislikeCount Metric
The number of users who have indicated that they disliked the video. This metric is only available to the video owner via authenticated API requests and is not available for public data collection as of December 13, 2021.
duration Metric
The length of the video in ISO 8601 format (e.g., PT15M33S for 15 minutes and 33 seconds).
favoriteCount Metric
The total number of times a YouTube video has been marked as a favorite. This metric is available as part of the statistics for a video resource.
hiddenSubscriberCount Dimension
Indicates whether the subscriber count for a YouTube channel is publicly hidden. If set to 'true', the actual subscriber count will not be displayed.
id Dimension
The unique ID that YouTube uses to identify the specific resource (e.g., video ID, channel ID).
likeCount Metric
The total number of likes for a YouTube video. This metric is available as part of the statistics for a video resource.
liveBroadcastContent Dimension
Indicates whether a video or channel currently has, or is scheduled to have, live broadcast content. Values can include 'upcoming', 'live', or 'none'.
localized Dimension
Container for localized versions of the resource's metadata, such as title and description, in different languages.
privacyStatus Dimension
The privacy status of the video, such as public, private, or unlisted.
publishedAt Dimension
The date and time when the video or channel was published or created.
subscriberCount Metric
The total number of subscribers for a YouTube channel.
tags Dimension
A list of keywords associated with the video to aid discoverability.
thumbnailUrl Dimension
The URL of a specific thumbnail image for the video or channel, usually at a default resolution.
thumbnails Dimension
A collection of thumbnail images for the video or channel, available in various sizes and resolutions.
title Dimension
The title of the video or channel.
videoCount Metric
The total number of videos uploaded to the YouTube channel.
viewCount Metric
The total number of times a YouTube video or channel has been viewed. This metric is available as part of the statistics for both video and channel resources.
