Collecting data from TikTok Ads#
This guide explains how to collect data from TikTok Ads. To learn how to collect data from a different data source, go back to the Available data sources in Adverity overview.

Limitations#
Collecting data from TikTok Ads comes with the following limitations:
You cannot fetch data with a weekly or monthly breakdown from TikTok Ads. You can only fetch data with daily or lifetime granularity.
Creating a datastream to collect data from TikTok Ads#

Configuration: Choose the data you want to collect from TikTok Ads#
Note
This connector reports data in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
To choose what data to collect and customize the TikTok Ads datastream configuration, follow these steps:
(Optional) Rename your datastream.
In Report type, select the type of data to collect from TikTok Ads. The fields you need to configure in the following steps differ according to the report type you select.
In Service type, select the ads type you want to collect.
Note
Adverity supports the Auction Ads service type by default. The Reservation Ads service type is a beta feature of TikTok Ads. You need to apply for beta to have access and be able to use it in Adverity.
In Data level, select the data level for which to collect data.
In Period, select the time period that you want to use to group your data.
In Advertisers and Campaigns, select the advertisers and campaigns for which to collect data. If you do not select any items in a drop-down list, Adverity collects data for all items in the drop-down list.
Note
When you select the GMV Max Campaigns report type and Overall performance as your GMV promotion type, the Campaigns field is not available.
In Stores, select the stores for which to collect data. Stores are displayed as {store_name} ({store_id}). If you do not select any stores, data for all stores will be retrieved.
In GMV promotion type, select the type of promotion data to collect:
Product GMV Max
Live GMV Max
Overall performance
In Level, select the level of data granularity:
For Product GMV Max: Campaign, Product, Creative, Duration
For Live GMV Max: Campaign, Livestream, Duration
In Creative type, select the type of creative content to include:
Ads and Organic
Organic Only
Removed
In Material type, select the type of creative materials to collect.
In Date filter, select for which dates you want to collect data. If you select Lifetime, all available data will be collected.
In Dimensions, Metadata fields, Metrics, and Fields, change the list of fields that you want to see in your data extract.
