Downloading data from an OData-based destination#
This guide explains how to download the full data set from an OData-based destination as a CSV file, or copy a preview of it to your clipboard.
OData-based destinations (OData, Power BI, Tableau, Domo, Qlik, Fabric, and Looker Studio) include a Download data set panel that lets you export the full data set directly from the destination, without any additional configuration. To copy data instead, use the Data preview feature, which lets you copy the previewed rows to your clipboard.
Limitations#
Downloading or copying data from a destination comes with the following limitations:
This feature is available only for OData-based destinations: OData, Power BI, Tableau, Domo, Qlik, Fabric, and Looker Studio.
You must have permission to create and edit destinations.
Copying data to your clipboard is limited to the rows shown in the data preview, up to 50 rows. To copy the full data set, download it as a CSV file instead.
Downloading or copying data from an OData-based destination#
To download the full data set as a CSV file, or copy a preview of the data set to your clipboard, follow these steps:
Go to the Destinations page.
Click the destination whose data you want to download or copy.
In the panel that opens, choose one of the following options:
To download the full data set as a CSV file, scroll to the Download data set section and click Download CSV.
To copy a preview of the data set to your clipboard, click Data preview, and then click Copy CSV.
As a result, the data set is downloaded as a CSV file, or a preview of it is copied to your clipboard.
