Osapiens: Setup guide#

This guide explains how to collect data from Osapiens.

Introduction#

Osapiens is a cloud-based SaaS platform that helps companies manage sustainability and regulatory compliance related to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). This connector fetches EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) assessment data from Osapiens into Adverity, enabling downstream reporting and compliance analysis without requiring direct access to Osapiens.

Limitations#

Collecting data from Osapiens comes with the following limitations:

  • The Osapiens API has a default rate limit of 10,000 requests per day and 100,000 requests per month per endpoint.

Prerequisites#

Before you start collecting data from Osapiens, perform all of the following actions:

  • Ensure you have an Osapiens account with API access enabled.

Creating a datastream to collect data from Osapiens#

The basics of creating a datastream to collect data from any data source are explained in our guide to Collecting data in Adverity. This guide contains information about the specific steps to create a datastream to fetch data from Osapiens.

Authorization: Allow Adverity to access Osapiens#

Before creating an authorization to give Adverity access to Osapiens, perform the following actions:

  • Obtain your Basic Auth Token and Tenant ID from your Osapiens administrator.

To set up a new authorization to fetch data from Osapiens, follow these steps:

  1. In the Authorization step of the datastream wizard, click Access Osapiens using your credentials.

  2. Click Next.

  3. In Basic Auth Token, enter your Osapiens Basic Auth Token.

  4. In Environment, select the environment to connect to:

    • Staging — for testing and development

    • Production — for live data

  5. In Tenant ID, enter your Osapiens Tenant ID.

  6. Click Authorize.

As a result, Adverity has access to Osapiens using the credentials you provided.

Configuration: Choose the data you want to collect from Osapiens#

To choose what data to collect and customize the Osapiens datastream configuration, follow these steps:

  1. (Optional) Rename your datastream.

  2. In Report type, select the type of data to collect.

  3. (Optional) In Domain, enter one or more domain identifiers as configured in your Osapiens tenant. Separate multiple values with commas. For example: production. If you leave this field blank, Adverity retrieves assessments from all domains.

As a result, Adverity fetches EUDR assessment data from Osapiens according to the configuration you set.
