Apple App Store Connect: Most-used fields#
The table below gives information about most-used fields that you can import from Apple App Store Connect. Other fields might also be available in Adverity.
The fields that you can fetch in Adverity are updated regularly to reflect updates to data source APIs.
App ID Dimension
A unique identifier automatically generated for an app when it is added to App Store Connect. This ID is used for internal tracking and within App Store URLs.
App Name Dimension
The name of the app as it appears on the App Store product page.
Apple Identifier Metric
A unique numerical identifier assigned to an application within Apple's App Store Connect, used to identify the app for management and reporting purposes.
Begin Date Dimension
The start date of the reporting period for sales and trend reports.
Category Dimension
The primary classification of the application on the App Store, which helps users discover apps based on their function or content. This includes categories, subcategories, and secondary categories.
Country Code Dimension
The country code associated with the transaction or install in sales reports.
Currency of Proceeds Dimension
The currency in which the developer's earnings (proceeds) are reported.
Customer Currency Dimension
The currency used by the customer for the purchase.
Customer Price Metric
The price paid by the customer for the app or in-app purchase.
Developer Dimension
The developer or organization responsible for the application.
Developer Proceeds Metric
The net earnings received by the developer from sales after Apple's commission.
Device Dimension
The type of Apple device on which the application is installed or for which data is being reported (e.g., iOS, macOS, Universal).
End Date Dimension
The end date of the reporting period for sales and trend reports.
Order Type Dimension
The category of the transaction, such as new purchase, update, or refund.
Period Dimension
The reporting frequency or period for the data (e.g., Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly).
Product Type Identifier Dimension
A unique identifier classifying the type of product (e.g., app, in-app purchase).
Promo Code Dimension
Alphanumeric codes that provide free or discounted access to auto-renewable subscriptions or apps for a specific duration, used for promotional campaigns. Note that Apple is transitioning from 'Promo Codes' to 'Offer Codes' for in-app purchases.
Provider Dimension
The unique identifier associated with the content provider or developer account in App Store Connect, often referred to as the Vendor Number in sales reports.
Provider Country Dimension
This field indicates the country or territory associated with app installs or sales. Data can be retrieved from the App Store Connect API through Sales and Trends Reports, utilizing the `SUMMARY_TERRITORY` subtype for `INSTALLS` or `SALES` report types, enabling geographic performance analysis.
Response Body Dimension
The text content of the developer's public response to a customer's review on the App Store.
Response ID Dimension
The unique identifier for a developer's response to a customer review.
Response Last Modified Date Dimension
The date and time when the developer's response to a customer review was last modified.
Response Last Modified Date (Date) Dimension
The date component of when the developer's response to a customer review was last modified.
Response State Dimension
The current state of the developer's response to a customer review, such as PUBLISHED or PENDING_PUBLISH.
Review Body Dimension
The main text content of the customer's written review for the app.
Review Created Date Dimension
The date and time when the customer's review was originally submitted.
Review Created Date (Date) Dimension
The date component of when the customer's review was originally submitted.
Review ID Dimension
The unique identifier for a customer's review of the app.
Review Rating Metric
The numerical rating (e.g., 1-5 stars) given by the customer in their review.
Review Territory Dimension
The App Store territory (country or region) where the customer's review was submitted.
Review Title Dimension
The title or subject line provided by the customer for their app review.
SKU Dimension
A unique Stock Keeping Unit identifier for a specific product or version of the app.
Subscription Dimension
Details related to an app subscription, if the report type is 'Subscriber'.
Supported Platforms Dimension
The platforms (e.g., iOS, macOS) that the application supports.
Title Dimension
The title provided by a customer for their review of the application on the App Store.
Units Metric
The quantity of items sold or downloaded (e.g., app installs, in-app purchases).
Version Dimension
The version number of the application or the report version.
