Readpeak: Setup guide#

This guide explains how to collect data from Readpeak.

Introduction#

Readpeak is a native advertising platform that delivers programmatic content and display ads across a network of publishers. The Readpeak connector ingests campaign delivery data from Readpeak, enabling centralized paid-media reporting and analytics alongside your other data sources.

Prerequisites#

Before you start collecting data from Readpeak, perform all of the following actions:

  • Ensure you have a Readpeak account with API access enabled.

Creating a datastream to collect data from Readpeak#

The basics of creating a datastream to collect data from any data source are explained in our guide to Collecting data in Adverity. This guide contains information about the specific steps to create a datastream to fetch data from Readpeak.

Authorization: Allow Adverity to access Readpeak#

Before creating an authorization to give Adverity access to Readpeak, perform the following actions:

  • In the Readpeak UI, go to the API section and generate an API key.

To set up a new authorization to fetch data from Readpeak, follow these steps:

  1. In the Authorization step of the datastream wizard, click Access Readpeak using your credentials.

  2. Click Next.

  3. In API Key, enter your Readpeak API key.

  4. Click Authorize.

As a result, Adverity has access to Readpeak using the credentials you provided.

Configuration: Choose the data you want to collect from Readpeak#

To choose what data to collect and customize the Readpeak datastream configuration, follow these steps:

  1. (Optional) Rename your datastream.

  2. In Dimensions, select the dimensions to include in your data extract. The available options depend on your Readpeak account. You must select at least one dimension.

  3. In Metrics, select the metrics to include in your data extract. The available options depend on your Readpeak account. You must select at least one metric.

  4. (Optional) In Filter, enter one or more comma-separated conditions to restrict the data Readpeak returns, for example client=Example 1,campaign=2026_Campaign1. Each condition must use the format field operator value, with =, >=, or <= as the operator.

    Note

    If you select the Goal ID or Goal Name dimension, you must also select the Conversions metric.

As a result, Adverity fetches data from Readpeak according to the configuration you set.
