Media.net (Select): Setup guide#
This guide explains how to collect data from Media.net (Select).
Introduction#
Media.net (Select) is a programmatic curation platform on the sell-side of digital advertising. Curators build targeted ad inventory deals using audience signals and contextual data, and activate them across DSPs. The connector provides deal-level performance reporting, including impressions, spend, margins, and other metrics for curated inventory packages.
Limitations#
Collecting data from Media.net (Select) comes with the following limitations:
Only one time granularity dimension (Day, Week, or Hour) can be selected at a time. If no time granularity dimension is selected, a
report_datecolumn is added automatically to the data extract. Each view has a maximum number of dimensions that can be selected. The limit varies by view and is enforced when you save the datastream.
Some dimension and metric combinations are incompatible. Adverity validates your selection when you save the datastream and displays an error message listing the incompatible items.
Only one report can be generated per user at a time. Additional requests are queued until the preceding report completes.
Reports exceeding 10 GB are incomplete. If a report exceeds this limit, Adverity displays a warning. To avoid truncation, narrow the date range or reduce the number of selected dimensions and metrics.
