Naver Trends: Setup guide#
This guide explains how to collect data from Naver Trends.
Limitations#
Collecting data from Naver Trends comes with the following limitations:
You can define a maximum of 5 keyword groups per request, with up to 20 keywords per group.
Historical data is available from 2016-01-01 onwards.
The ratio field is a relative search index on a scale of 0–100, not absolute search volume. It represents search interest relative to the highest point in the selected time period.
Creating a datastream to collect data from Naver Trends#

Authorization: Allow Adverity to access Naver Trends#
Before creating an authorization to give Adverity access to Naver Trends, perform the following actions:
Register an application in the Naver Developers portal to obtain a Client ID and Client Secret.
To set up a new authorization to fetch data from Naver Trends, follow these steps:
In the Authorization step of the datastream wizard, click Access Naver Trends using your credentials.
Click Next.
In Client ID and Client secret, enter the credentials from your Naver application.
Click Authorize.
Configuration: Choose the data you want to collect from Naver Trends#
To choose what data to collect and customize the Naver Trends datastream configuration, follow these steps:
(Optional) Rename your datastream.
In Report type, select the type of data to collect from Naver Trends.
In Keyword groups, enter the keyword groups for which to collect search trend data as a JSON array. You can define up to 5 keyword groups with up to 20 keywords each.
In Time unit, choose the time unit in which you want to collect data, such as daily, weekly, or monthly.
