i-mobile: Setup guide#

This guide explains how to collect data from i-mobile.

Limitations#

Collecting data from i-mobile comes with the following limitations:

  • Historical data is available from the first day of the month, up to 7 months back from the current date.

Creating a datastream to collect data from i-mobile#

The basics of creating a datastream to collect data from any data source are explained in our guide to Collecting data in Adverity. This guide contains information about the specific steps to create a datastream to fetch data from i-mobile.

Authorization: Allow Adverity to access i-mobile#

Before creating an authorization to give Adverity access to i-mobile, perform the following actions:

  1. Contact your i-mobile account administrator to obtain an API key.

To set up a new authorization to fetch data from i-mobile, follow these steps:

  1. In the Authorization step of the datastream wizard, click Access i-mobile using your credentials.

  2. Click Next.

  3. In API Key, enter your i-mobile API key.

  4. Click Authorize.

Configuration: Choose the data you want to collect from i-mobile#

To choose what data to collect and customize the i-mobile datastream configuration, follow these steps:

  1. (Optional) Rename your datastream.

  2. In Report type, select the type of data to collect from i-mobile. For a description of each report type, see Report types below.

  3. In Promotions, select the promotions for which to collect data. If you do not select any items in a drop-down list, Adverity collects data for all items in the drop-down list.

  4. In Campaigns, select the campaigns for which to collect data. If you do not select any items in a drop-down list, Adverity collects data for all items in the drop-down list. This field applies to the Creative level report type only.
