Harvest: Most-used fields#
The table below gives information about most-used fields that you can import from Harvest. Other fields might also be available in Adverity.
The fields that you can fetch in Adverity are updated regularly to reflect updates to data source APIs.
access_roles Dimension
The access role(s) that define the user's permissions within Harvest.
approval_status Dimension
The approval status of the time entry, which can be "unsubmitted", "submitted", or "approved".
avatar_url Dimension
The URL for the user's avatar image.
billable Dimension
Indicates whether the project is billable.
billable_rate Metric
The hourly rate used for projects billed by a project hourly rate.
client.currency Dimension
The currency code associated with the client.
client.id Dimension
The unique identifier for the client.
client.name Dimension
The name of the client.
cost_rate Dimension
The cost rate used for a user in calculating a project's costs versus the billable amount.
created_at Dimension
The date and time when the record was created.
date Dimension
The date associated with the record, such as the date a time entry was spent or an expense occurred.
default_hourly_rate Dimension
The default billable hourly rate for the user when assigned to a project.
email Dimension
The email address of the user.
ended_time Dimension
The time when the time entry ended.
external_reference Dimension
An object containing details of an external reference associated with the time entry.
first_name Dimension
The first name of the user.
has_access_to_all_future_projects Dimension
Indicates whether the user is automatically added to all future projects.
hours Metric
The number of hours tracked in a time entry.
hours_without_timer Metric
The number of hours tracked in a time entry before the timer was last started.
id Metric
The unique identifier for the record.
invoice Dimension
An object containing information about the associated invoice once the record has been invoiced.
is_active Dimension
Indicates whether the record is active or archived.
is_billed Dimension
Indicates whether the time entry has been marked as invoiced.
is_contractor Dimension
Indicates whether the user is a contractor or an employee.
is_locked Dimension
Indicates whether the time entry has been locked.
is_running Dimension
Indicates whether the time entry timer is currently running.
last_name Dimension
The last name of the user.
locked_reason Dimension
The reason why the time entry has been locked.
notes Dimension
Any textual notes or description associated with the record.
permissions_profile Dimension
An array of strings representing the access roles assigned to a user, which determine their permissions within Harvest. Examples include administrator, manager, or member, with managers having additional specific permissions like project creator or billable rates manager.
project.code Dimension
The code assigned to the associated project.
project.id Dimension
The unique identifier for the associated project.
project.name Dimension
The name of the associated project.
roles Dimension
Descriptive business roles assigned to the user, used for filtering reports.
rounded_hours Metric
The rounded number of hours tracked in a time entry, used in summary reports and invoices based on Time Rounding settings.
spent_date Dimension
The date on which the time entry was spent or the expense occurred.
started_time Dimension
The time when the time entry started.
task.id Metric
The unique identifier for the associated task.
task.name Dimension
The name of the associated task.
task_assignment.billable Dimension
Indicates whether the task assignment is billable.
task_assignment.budget Dimension
The budget allocated for the task assignment when the project's budgeting method is by task or task fees.
task_assignment.created_at Dimension
The date and time when the task assignment was created.
task_assignment.hourly_rate Metric
The hourly rate used for the task assignment when the project's billing method is by tasks.
task_assignment.id Metric
The unique identifier for the task assignment.
task_assignment.is_active Dimension
Indicates whether the task assignment is active or archived.
task_assignment.updated_at Dimension
The date and time when the task assignment was last updated.
telephone Dimension
The user's telephone number.
timer_started_at Dimension
The date and time when the running timer for a time entry was started.
timezone Dimension
The user's timezone.
updated_at Dimension
The date and time when the record was last updated.

user_assignment.budget Metric
The budget allocated for the user assignment when the project's budgeting method is by person.

The custom hourly rate used for the user assignment when the project bills by people and does not use default rates.
user_assignment.id Metric
The unique identifier for the user assignment.
user_assignment.is_active Dimension
Indicates whether the user assignment is active or archived.
user_assignment.is_project_manager Dimension
Indicates whether the user has Project Manager permissions for the associated project.
user_assignment.updated_at Dimension
The date and time when the user assignment was last updated.
user_assignment.use_default_rates Dimension
Determines if the user's default billable rates or custom rates from the user assignment are used for a project billed by people.
weekly_capacity Metric
The number of hours per week a user is available to work, expressed in seconds.
