Clockify: Most-used fields#
The table below gives information about most-used fields that you can import from Clockify. Other fields might also be available in Adverity.
The fields that you can fetch in Adverity are updated regularly to reflect updates to data source APIs.
Billable Dimension
A boolean value indicating whether a time entry, project, or task is considered billable to a client.
Client Dimension
Represents a client within Clockify, typically associated with one or more projects. Time entries can be grouped and reported by client to analyze project profitability and billable hours.
Description Dimension
A textual description or note associated with a time entry.
Duration (decimal) Metric
The total duration of a time entry or aggregated time in decimal hours. This format is useful for calculations, invoicing, and reporting hourly rates.
Duration (h) Dimension
The total duration of a time entry, represented in hours. This is derived from the start and end times of the time entry.
Email Dimension
The email address of the user or client associated with the data.
End Date Dimension
The calendar date when a time entry concluded, formatted as YYYY-MM-DD.
End Time Dimension
The specific time when a time entry concluded, often represented in HH:MM:SS format.
Group Dimension
A category used for aggregating data in reports, such as by project, user, or client, to provide summarized insights.
Project Dimension
Represents a project where time is tracked. Projects help organize time entries, often belong to a specific client, and can be used to group data in reports to analyze productivity and allocate resources.
Start Date Dimension
The calendar date when a time entry began, formatted as YYYY-MM-DD.
Start Time Dimension
The specific time when a time entry began, often represented in HH:MM:SS format.
Tags Dimension
A list of identifiers for tags associated with a time entry, used for categorization and filtering.
Task Dimension
Represents a specific task within a project. Users track time against tasks, and this data can be aggregated in reports to provide detailed insights into work performed and task-level effort.
User Dimension
Represents an individual user in a Clockify workspace who tracks time. Time entries are associated with users, enabling reporting on individual team member productivity and contributions.
