Reddit Ads: Tips and best practices#

Supported fields for different breakdowns#

Some Reddit Ads fields can be fetched only when a specific breakdown is selected.

Due to the API limitations, you can only select up to three breakdowns per datastream.

The following list shows which fields are available for a breakdown:

  • AD_ID
    If selected, you can fetch the ad, ad_group, and campaign fields.
  • AD_GROUP_ID
    If selected, you can fetch the ad_group and campaign fields.
  • CAMPAIGN_ID
    If selected, you can fetch only campaign fields added to the list.
  • DATE, COUNTRY, DMA, GALLERY_ITEM_ID, PLACEMENT, REGION, COMMUNITY
    If any of these breakdowns are selected, you can fetch the metrics with the same name.
